TFT Set 15: How to Play Akali Supreme Cell

Overview

Akali is back, which is good news for those of you who enjoy Akali and bad news for the rest of us normal human beings. She's an extremely oppressive carry and can easily dominate the backline-oriented meta right now, especially if you are good at positioning her.

When to Play

You have Nashor's Tooth components and don't know what else to play
You hit a Darius early (it will help you win streak or save HP)
You hit Kennen, Lucian, and Aatrox early

How to Play

Mech openers with Lucian holding Akali items are going to be the easiest way to streak into this comp -- you generally don't want to slam QSS immediately because it's not very good at helping you win fights in the early game. Nashor's is good, though, and so is slamming Ryze items or K'Sante items to help streak.
You can get away with just one Nashor's Tooth -- Akali is flexible enough that you can run a lot of different items on her (any AP or mana generating items are good) and then you can slowly pivot into the BiS (Nashor's, Nashor's, QSS) as the game progresses.
Hitting even one Akali on Stage 3 can really stabilize your board, and on Stage 4, Akali1 can be enough to keep you healthy if you have other upgrades on your board.
Once you push level 9, a second Akali2 is generally going to be the best unit to play, though you can also run Lee Sin2 or any other legendary unit.
Darius3 is a potential duo carry if you find enough copies while rolling down (it's not worth chasing if you are too far off).
