Overview

Patch 11.08 is going to be remembered as one of the largest to ever hit VALORANT thanks to a multitude of changes to systems across agents and gunplay. You can read the full patch notes from Riot here, but we're going to give you the quick TLDR on what you can expect:

  • Breach, Fade, Gekko, KAYO, and Sova recon nerfed

    • Huge (up to 20s) cooldown increases in signature abilities

  • Iso, Neon, Reyna, Waylay, Yoru, and Raze all hit with nerfs

  • Astra and Omen hit with major nerfs

    • Brimstone and Viper hit with minor nerfs

  • Cypher, Vyse, Killjoy, Deadlock, and Sage all hit with nerfs

    • Vyse in particular took a big nerf

  • All near sights nerfed from 5m of vision to 7m

  • All concusses now last 2.25s

  • All stims nerfed

  • If not listed above, agent is untouched

    • Many people expect this to mean we'll see a lot of Duelists, but it could also mean good initiators and controllers will be even more valuable now

  • Pearl and Abyss both have multiple changes

  • Vandal, Phantom, and Bulldog all more accurate on initial spray and have less random spray patterns overall

  • Spectre buffed, Stinger nerfed
