Overview

Season 2 kicks off with a bunch of new content, including a visual skin for Summoner's Rift stylized like the Spirit Blossom skins (with new ones introduced this patch). There are new battle pass rewards, emotes, and more!

Thornbound Atakhan
Only Thornbound Atakhan can spawn in game now
Grants Spirit Petals: 25% increased XP and Adaptive Force
On takedown, area around target slows and damages nearby enemies and grants your team a Spirit Petal
Bounties
No longer pays up to 60% more gold (300g) based upon the calculated lead
Now pays up to 10% of the gold difference on top of the base bounty payment, capped at 1000g total
Lesser objectives (such as Outer Turrets) that have lower base bounty also have lower payouts from the gold lead
Adjusted Objective Bounty calculation for accuracy: Gold leads are more important; other objectives are less important.
Champion bounties no longer suppressed when a team is moderately behind but suppresses unless a team is moderately ahead
Base kill gold now scales up 10g per level (Starting at level 7 with a 420g maximum)

Void Grubs
Spawn time changed from 6 minutes to 8 minutes
No longer respawns
Grants Hunger of the Void (single Void Mite buff) when you kill 3 grubs (instead of 4)
Grants feat credit to whichever team took 2 out of 3
DoT from Touch of Void deals more damage at 2 and 3 stacks
Rift Herald
Does more damage but dies faster

Annie - Q damage increased, W mana cost decreased, R magic penetration increased
Ashe - Q damage and bonus attack speed increased
K'Sante - W damage increased
Leona - Passive duration increased, Q and E mana cost decreased
Morgana - E shield strength increased, R damage and bonus movement speed increased
Orianna - Q mana cost reduced
Shen - Empowered Q damage increased
Nerfs
Gwen - Armor growth decreased, Passive damage to monsters decreased, Q damage decreased
Kalista - Base health and AD decreased, AD growth increased, E damage decreased
Naafiri - W cooldown increased early, E AD ratio decreased
Yorick - Mist Walker damage from monsters decreased
Other Changes
Boots of Swiftness nerfed
Symbiotic Soles nerfed
Rod of Ages nerfed
Tier 3 Boot upgrade costs decreased
