Overview
Diana has quickly risen to become one of the most consistent ways to score LP in this set thanks to being easy to unlock early and for being quite hard to deal with even at 1-star. She's simple to unlock provided you have the conditions to go for her, and she'll fit into a lot of different final boards. As always, check our comps page for full details on this and other comps.
When to Play
You have a Leona early
You hit Team Building (Silver) or Heroic Grab Bag (Gold) with your first or second augment, which will guarantee a 2-star Leona as soon as you find one copy
You have Guinsoo, Titan's, and BT components and don't know what else to play
How to Play
This comp is basically a guaranteed Top 4 if you angle it from the beginning of the game with one of the play conditions mentioned above. The most consistent variations are augments which guarantee you Lesser Champion Duplicators and you have a Leona early, though having Leona early is less important than the duplicators. You should use the duplicators on Leona as soon as you can 2-star her, and then transfer 3 items over (even carry items) as soon as you are level 6 to unlock Diana the following turn.
1-star Diana with Guinsoo's + BT is going to win most fights on Stage 3 by herself, and even some fights on Stage 4. Don't be afraid to slam a random tank or backline item on her at this stage, or even something like Hand of Justice. You can aim for perfect items later, but it's important for her to hold 3-items in the mid game.
You can run Leona for most of Stage 3, but by Stage 4 (or whenever you find a Taric), you generally want to drop her because her ability doesn't synergize well with Diana. It forces Diana to tag every champion Leona hits, which is means she'll spend less time attacking the enemy backline.
If you position Diana as seen above, she can jump to the enemy corner on her side (or if you mirror her to the other side of your frontline, then she'll hit the other corner). Players who aren't paying attention to positioning will get crushed by Diana.
I generally do not recommend playing this comp without duplicators early -- if you are forced to just roll for Leona-2, sometimes you have to dig too deep and then you'll struggle to find Diana-2.
The rest of your board is rather flexible, but your goal is to reach level 9 and play Legendaries. If you won streak early with Leona and hit Diana early to continue the streak, you can skip Stage 4 (at the cost of HP) and play for level 9 on Stage 5.
The core of Neeko, Vi, Seraphine, and Swain complement Diana really well on level 8 -> you can splash whatever legendaries or Targons you hit around this (Taric and Zoe are always playable). You can also look to play around Ambessa + Mel or any other units you're able to easily find.
At 9, this board likes to cap around Shurima. Being able to hit Xerath is really nice for this board, as you'll want a more consistent backline carry to pair with Diana, who is going to fall off in Stage 5 and 6.
You want to follow the standard leveling curve, which you can read more in depth about here.

Best Items

Win Conditions
Level 9 or 10 with upgraded legendaries and you correctly position your Diana to chase enemy carries. If they move off of the corner, you can try positioning in the center, for example, to counteract it.
Diana-3 (if you are uncontested -- no one else can hold your units)
Xerath-2 with good charms
