Jett VALORANT Guide

Jett VALORANT Guide

Overview

If you’re here to look up some stuff about Jett before deciding to lock her in, it’s too late. Someone else has already insta-locked her. Consistently the most popular agent since the launch of the game, Jett is a high flying maniac in the hands of the right player -- she’s an agent with a high skill ceiling and has the ability to dominate games thanks to her high mobility.

Role: Duelist

Duelists are the primary entry agent for your team.

On defense, they look to hold early angles opponents might peek from to get information, or they may work with your team’s initiators to make aggressive plays on defense. They also are the ones most likely to push through an opening to find a flank.

On attack, they are expected to be the first person to break an angle. Many duelists come equipped with tools that enable this, which means duelists are usually the agents who will see the most gun fights throughout the course of a game.

Tips and Tricks

  • The most common way for a Jett player to enter a site is to throw her Cloudburst [C] and then dash into it with her Tailwind [E]. You can even combo this with Updraft [Q] to dash onto a higher position. You can also dash into open spaces and use Cloudburst to block off an angle instead.

  • Jett has great accuracy even while moving with her Bladestorm [X] -- you don’t need to adjust for recoil and should instead make yourself as hard for the enemy to hit as possible. The most simple method for this is to jump around a corner and float to change where your head is when you intend to peek.

  • Tailwind [E] must be activated ahead of time before you can use it, which means most Jett players look to take early aggressive angles. On defense, you can wait for enemy utility before using it -- you typically dash back to safety after the first fight. For this reason, Jett players will often buy the Operator to try to secure easy advantages for their team early.
