Miss Fortune Build Guide

Miss Fortune Build Guide

Overview

If you need a simple champion that deals a lot of damage with just one press of a button, Miss Fortune is the girl for you. Her Bullet Time was one of the OG abilities to be included in wombo combos and to date still remains one of the best options. Keys to Remember for Miss Fortune

  1. Miss Fortune is one of the best champions for team fighting if you are not an ADC main -- while she does much better in the hands of a good player, all you need to do is channel R from a good angle to get value in a team fight.

  2. Make It Rain can clear a bush for you -- her biggest weakness is lack of dashes, so be very careful to manage the space between you and opponents.

Strengths

Because many games devolve into team fight fests in Solo Queue, Miss Fortune has many chances to find value with her Bullet Time. She’s an ADC that can dish out a ton of damage in the hands of a good player, but even in the hands of a bad player, just pressing R at the right time from the right angle will mean you are contributing a meaningful amount of damage in a fight. She’s a champion with a fairly high floor of entry, and her lane phase is bearable thanks to Double Up providing easy poke access.

Weaknesses

Bullet Time locks you in place and makes it easy for enemy champions to locate you and jump on you if you’re not careful with where they are or what they can do. In general she is not very mobile once a fight begins, and if you pick her into an enemy comp that has a lot of options for engage, you’ll find it really difficult to find value even on Bullet Time as it can be interrupted.

Game Plan

  1. Early Game: You’ll want to find value on your Double Up as much as possible -- even landing two or three of them onto enemy champions can be enough to give you dominance in the lane. Once you have Bullet Time, don’t be afraid to launch it any time an opponent is locked in place.

  2. Mid Game: Aim for team fights -- at this point in the game your Bullet Time is going to be extremely deadly as enemy champions won’t be tanky enough to just eat it.

  3. Late Game: She’s still going to dish out a lot of damage, but if your Flash is down, you’re going to die if the enemy team decides you should die. It’s best to play far back and wait for enemies to use their cooldowns before committing to a fight. You can also sometimes find value with a Bullet Time from Fog of War.
