How to Play Twisted Fate Reroll

How to Play Twisted Fate Reroll

Overview

Twisted Fate remains one of the strongest 2-cost units to play around in Patch 14.3. This variation is different from previous iterations of TF that focused on rolling at level 6 and instead pushes to level 7 to roll for a higher end game cap. Below is the board you're looking to play.

When to Play

  • You have Twisted Fate early

  • You hit a good reroll augment like Starry Night or Two

  • You have a tear and don't know what else to play

How to Play

  • This is a comp that follows a standard leveling curve, which you can read more in depth about here.

Stage

Level

2-1

Level to 4 and try to win early. TF is better from early tempo -- usually this means having upgraded frontline and being able to slam Guinsoo's right away.

2-5

Level to 5

3-2

Level to 6 and roll for TF 2. Your goal is to play 3 Syndicate with Rapidfire and either Bruisers or Vanguards for frontline.

3-X

If you stayed above 50g, you can slow roll a bit on level 6 for Twisted Fate if you still need to hit him or if you have a lot of pairs otherwise.

4-1

Level to 7 and slow roll for Twisted Fate, Braum, and Draven. Darius and Rhaast are usually not worth trying to 3-star.

4-X

Play 5 Syndicate as soon as you find Miss Fortune (drop Bruiser).

5-2

Stay on 7 to roll for 3-stars. As soon as you hit TF and Braum, you can push to level 8 for Gragas or legendaries.

  • You need Guinsoo's and Gunblade on Twisted Fate. The third item can be an Ornn item, Archangel's, Deathcap, or another Guinsoo's.

  • You want to keep Syndicate Boss on TF early in the game and then make Braum your second boss.

  • By end game, you can have items on Draven and Miss Fortune to have extra carries.

Best Items

Braum

Draven

Miss Fortune

Win Conditions

  • 3-starring everything ahead of tempo so you can stay ahead of the curve

  • Pushing level 9 for Aurora 2 and being able to throw in a good unit like Zac or Urgot

  • 7 Syndicate if you can find emblems
